Springtail Exoskeleton Flying Vehicle

Talk about making a fast getaway in the Springtail Exoskeleton Flying Vehicle – this single pilot, vertical take-off-and-landing (VTOL) mode of transport will support the operator/pilot in a standing position. Powered by a single 118 hp rotary engine, it comes with counter-rotating blades that eliminate the torque normally associated with a single rotor helicopter, hence doing away with the need for a tail rotor. It uses a fly-by-wire computer system to move about, where each fan can be tilted individually to control pitch and yaw. Maximum speed stands at 113 mph (180 kph) with a range of 184 miles (295 km) courtesy of its 12.3-gallon (46.6-liter) fuel tank. No idea what kind of licensing is required for this big boy’s toy, but we do know you need deep pockets to the tune of $1.25 million if you want to bring this puppy home.
