Toshiba has taken the initiative yet again with the new Dynabook SS-RX2 which comes equipped with a 512GB SSD, the first in the market to do so. This 12.1″ notebook also boasts a whopping 12-hour battery life, housed in a svelte body that would make any supermodel proud. Powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, it tips the scales at under 2.5 pounds while measuring no more than 25mm thin. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, this is a Japan-only device, so keep your fingers crossed that it will make its way across the Pacific in due time. Due to the massive size of the SSD, you’ve got to fork out around $4,400 after conversion if you’re in Japan.
