Here’s a first by US Cellular: offering its customers an exchange of their dead or dying cell phone batteries for a fully-charged new one – for free. The only condition for eligibility is that the phone itself must be at least 18 months old. With this service, US Cellular hopes to help their customers stay connected, save some cash on new batteries and keep their phones longer. Looks like being faithful to your phone has its rewards – let’s hope more carriers will join in providing this service.
