All WD AV-GP hard drives are equipped with WD GreenPower Technology that provide cooler and quieter operation while helping you save on your month electricity bills with a lower power consumption of up to 40%. The WD AV-GP range was specially designed to handle tough environments in the surveillance and security markets and comes with features such as long-term reliability, minimized noise levels, IntelliPark that unloads heads during idle automatically, SilkStream capability that enables smooth, continuous digital video playback of up to a dozen HD streams simultaneously.
