Acer Could Power Past Asus

Acer, the third largest PC manufacturer in the world at the moment might soon find itself overtaking Asustek Computer in the smartphone market as the former has plans to roll out up to 9 models this years, compared to just a third of that amount by Asustek during a similar timeframe. With handsets from Acer that will retail between $300 to $650, we could be looking at some formidable competition in the smartphone market assuming everything is released according to schedule.
