
Acer chairman J.T. Wang isn’t too disturbed with rumors of Nokia entering the netbook market, claiming that Acer has the upper hand when it comes to a fight against the Finnish handset vendor. In addition, most PC vendors will also boast the advantage of low component costs that handset vendors are unable to compete. Wang does welcome new competitors to this fast growing niche, however, since it will further expand the market.
