Alltel Wireless To Offer 1-Year Service Contracts

Alltel Wireless aims to approach the market differently by offering 1-year service contracts for new or renewing subscribers who reside in selected areas, and best of all is, they will maintain similar phone prices as with the two-year pricing structure. This is good news for consumers, although it remains to be seen just how many areas will fall under this marketing plan. At point of publishing, this 1-year contract option via Alltel will only be available to customers in the 91 CMAs that Verizon has been required to divest.
