Asus Announces O!Play HDP-R1 HD Media Player

Asus has rolled out the first of its O!Play series of HD media players, the HDP-R1. The O!Play HDP-R1 is special as it offers full HD resolution over a wide range of media formats, and will be equipped with a handful of exclusive features including Music Shuffle and an ultra-fast eSATA interface in order to provide a revolutionary living room digital entertainment experience never seen nor heard before. This is the first High Definition media player in the world that will be able to handle the following formats with aplomb – MPEG1/2/4, H.264, VC-1 and RM/RMVB. The O!Play HDP-R1 also draws you out of your hermit lifestyle by letting you share videos and photos of yourself instantly from a connected computer/notebook with friends, family and colleagues, all from the comfort of your living rooms.
