Asustek has started to reduce prices of its ageing 7″ and 8.9″ Eee PCs, presumably to clear stocks of it. Could this move point toward a brand new range of Eee PCs? We certainly hope not, but for folks who have long lusted after one of those 8.9″ models can now pick up the Eee PC 900A (one of many variants) for a mere $219 after conversion, whil ethe 7″ model is going for a dirt cheap $153. If you’re one who doesn’t need to stay at the forefront of cutting edge technology, then this price cut by Asustek would certainly be welcomed.
