BeoVision 7-40 Gets Blu-ray Player

Bang & Olufsen is back with another opulent offering – the BeoVision 7-40 flat-screen LCD TV that features a built-in Blu-ray player as well as double-frame-rate technology for superior image quality. This means the regular DVD drive is given the boot for the whole system to keep up with the times, and you don’t really need to invest in a new pair of curtains since the TV itself has an anti-reflection display alongside 120Hz double-frame-rate technology with motion compensation. Where audio is concerned, you can choose between the BeoLab 7-2 stereo loudspeaker or the BeoLab 7-4, where the former is better suited for normal TV while the latter caters more towards surround sound fans. The BeoVision 7-40 will be available from this month onwards for approximately $13,500 a pop.
