Nintendo might be losing its grip in the current console generation with its chief rivals encroaching on its territory with motion controls, leaving them to rely on their standby that worked wonders for sales in the past – that is, introduce a new color for the Wii console. The black Wii will arrive in Japan this August 1st onwards, alongside color-coordinated accessories such as the Wiimote, Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro. In other news, the DSi won’t be left out either, arriving first in Japan this July 11th with a spanking new red color. We wonder how long will it take for Nintendo to release these colors officially in other regions.
