Casio Unveils Quartet Of Projectors

Casio has just released four more projectors in Japan, where they will all come in a super slim design that ought to fit into crammed spaces of most Japanese households and buildings. In fact, this design measures a mere 1.7″ in height – revolutionary for a projector. Shared features among all four include XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution and 1,800:1 contrast ratio when they hit the market in that part of the world this July. Let’s take a closer look at the individual models. Firstly, the XJ-S68 projector will have a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens, leading the pack in that department, accompanied by a composite, RGB and USB connections. As for the XJ-S63, this model has an equal brightness rating of the S68 albeit it loses out on the USB port, compensating you with a 1-watt speaker. Further down the list is the XJ-S58 that has 3,000 ANSI lumens and USB connectivity. As for the XJ-S39, this entry level model has a brightness of 2.500 ANSI lumens, USB connectivity and an ultra short throw distance.
