Touchscreen technology is here to say, and different companies have taken various approaches in pushing this technology to the masses. ELO TouchSystems will be rolling out a new touchscreen technology which is capable of delivering real-time, two-finger gesture recognition on an analog resistive touchscreen. This new technology was formed to fill the niche that cheap resistive panels which are easily scratched and more expensive, robust capacitive screens fail to do. Apparently, ELO will rely on a solitary indium tin oxide layer that will reduce the cost of the technology used in majority of touch-enabled cellphones. This technology will further reduce the cost without compromising on performance, delivering the sensitive, accurate, fast touch response mobile users require.
