Fatal1ty And Fusion-IO Team Up

Pro-gamer extraordinare Fatal1ty has yet another endorsement right under his gaming belt by teaming up with Fusion-io to bring gamers a consumer-level PCI Express SSD card. This new peripheral was specially engineered to offer extremely fast transfer rates to complement your high-performance right. Dubbed the ioXtreme, it is an 80GB PCI Express card which ought to render your current standard hard drive obsolete when it comes to performance. It will ship from July onwards, although we’re rather apprehensive at the $895 price tag that seems to be rather hefty in the current economic climate. Well, it is still cheaper compared to what OCZ is offering with their Z-Drive.
