HTC Firestone Makes Appearance

The HTC Firestone is back on the rumor mill in what seems to be the first clear render of the smartphone, and it is tipped that this model could see the HTC Touch HD being relegated to being its predecessor since they both boast a rather similar design. Meant to function on Windows Mobile 6.5, features of the HTC Firestone will include a generous 3.6″ WQVGA display, a 600MHz processor, 256MB RAM, double the amount for ROM and an 8-megapixel camera – the first of its kind from HTC’s stable. Chances are the HTC Firestone will hit the streets this August, so keep your fingers crossed that it will be affordably priced.
