Lenovo could have stumbled across a great formula with the ThinkPad T400s that is touted to occupy the fabled sweet spot which lies between weak ultraportables and battery-draining 15″ notebooks. This 14.1″ T400s measures just 0.83″ thin, tipping the scales at slightly less than four pounds. Inside you will find the following specifications :-
- Roll cage technology
- Intel 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo processor
- 128GB SSD or 250GB hard drive
- 9.5mm slim DVD burner or Blu-ray player
- Multitouch trackpad
- Ethernet, Wi-Fi, optional WiMAX/WWAN/Bluetooth connectivity
- 34mm ExpressCard slot or 5-in-1 card reader
The battery has a rating of six hours. If you’re interested in picking up this little powerhouse, then be prepared to fork out at least $1,599 for the entry-level model.
