Panasonic has rolled out its first WiMAX-ready notebook in Japan, where it will be powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SP9600 2.53GHz processor. In addition, you will get 2GB RAM (which we think you might want to upgrade), a hungry 500GB hard drive and a 14.1” LCD display with a resolution of 1,440 x 900. The trackpad itself looks interested, coming in a round form factor with some weird looking buttons located at the bottom. Flanked by the trackpad looks like a couple of square/rectangular areas that seem as though they can be opened up. No idea on pricing, but the Panasonic F8 notebook will hit Japan at the end of July.
