LG Testing OLED Panels

Word has it that LG Display has been testing OLED panels that will feature a new touchscreen technology, which will be used specifically for Apple in the future. The main idea is to come up with a fingerprint resistant display that does not hinder multitouch use – we’ve got an easier solution, just give out a pair of fingertip gloves with each iPhone 3G S purchase and voila! You have a fingerprint-free device no matter how many numbers you dial or games you play on it. Should this be successful, the next generation iPhone ought to be fingerprint resistant by the time it rolls around.
