LightLane Personal Bike Path To Be Realized

Remember the zany LightLane concept that we covered earlier this year? Well, nice to know that this idea is not going to remain a pie-in-the-sky model, but has already entered the production engineering phase. The completed LightLane will utilize a couple of high visibility Diode-Pumped Solid State green lasers that draw a path to map out the biker’s surrounding area on the street, helping drivers be alerted to cyclists on poorly lit roads. We hope that this will be affordable enough for the masses when it is released.
