
Logitech has plans to upgrade its Squeezebox media streaming hub that will result in a high-end, touchscreen model to keep up with the times according to frequent forum goers who are eagle-eyed enough to notice a product listing for a Squeezebox Touch. This will come with a 4.3″ capacitive touchscreen which makes it a snap to control most media playback acorss the network. In addition, the updated Squeezebox will also include an SD memory card slot alongside USB connectivity, RCA stereo and headphone jacks and digital co-ax and optical. There is no word on a release date but it will probably retail for $299.
