Maingear has a spanking new gaming PC known as the ePhex X58 Elite, where it will house the Asus X58 motherboard which is extremely flexible, capable of holding multiple video cards from either NVIDIA or ATI. In fact, you can cram in up to a trio of NVIDIA GTX 285s or an equal number of ATI HD 4890s, but that mainly depends on your budget (and needs, of course). In addition, the ePhex X58 Elite can hold up to 24GB RAM within with an Intel Core i7 975 Extreme processor running at the heartbeat of things. Judging by the specifications, you know you’ve got to pay through your nose to bring one of these home, so don’t get turned off by the $5,660 starting price tag.
