Microsoft Ready To Roll Out Own Antivirus

Microsoft is on a roll with its new (and free, to boot!) security service known as Morro, where it will debut sometime in the second half of 2009. Hopefully Morro will be a much better effort compared to the failure that was Live OneCare. It will be interested to see how Symantec and McAfee will perceive this real world threat after dealing with digital threats all these years, and to have Morro bundled for free on Windows-based PCs might just dent the other two’s market share if Morro is able to perform up to par with the best of them. What do you think? Sound off in the comments.
