Microsoft has just announced its latest portable wireless mouse, the Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 which will target netbook users. This new mouse also boasts the company’s latest BlueTrack technology that touts to offer superior accuracy unlike laser and traditional optical mice. As mentioned before, BlueTrack technology will supposedly perform as well as or even better than any mouse in the market on smooth surfaces including granite or uneven ones such as a carpet and unfinished wood. As for the 2.4GHz Nano USB transceiver that comes with it, it won’t jut out more than 0.4″ from your USB port, allowing you to leave it in at all times. Powered by a single AA battery, the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse will have a maximum working range of 15 feet and retail for $40 when it arrives this August in black, lime, pink, white and blue colors.
