Mio Technology is more often than not associated with GPS navigation systems, and this time round they will be rolling out a new Windows Mobile 6.5-powered handset known as the Mio Amber. While it hasn’t entered the official phase, we do know that the Mio Amber will be equipped with the following :-
- 3.61″ WVGA touchscreen display
- GPRS/EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA connectivity
- G sensor
- GPS/A-GPS navigation
- Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
- FM transmitter
- Noise cancellation technology
- 5-megapixel camera with autofocus
- Secondary VGA camera
- 528MHz Qualcomm MSM 7201A Turbo processor
- 256MB RAM/512MB ROM
- microSD memory card slot
There is no word on when the Mio Amber will roll out, and neither do we know how much it’ll cost.
