OCZ Colossus SSD

OCZ’s presence at Computex 2009 has all the trappings to give them another boost with a new solid state drive (SSD) being announced – the Colossus. No, it won’t be large in size to bog down your notebook when you carry it around, as it retains the 3.5″ hard drive form factor that we’ve come to know and love over the years – we presume the naming convention has something to do with the capacities it comes in, which are 500GB and 1TB, respectively. The OCZ Colossus will be released in approximately 8 weeks’ time, but there is still no word on pricing from OCZ until the release date draws nearer. At those capacities, it definitely won’t come cheap!
