Sony has confirmed that some UMD games will become available via the Playstation Network. For people who already own a bunch of UMD games, Sony will create a program to help owners get a digital copy of a game that they already own in UMD form. Sony Believes that 20-25% of PSP 1000 (the original) owners might upgrade to the PSP Go. The details have not been completely worked out, but so far, it looks like Sony won’t charge an extra to get old UMD titles to a disc-free format.
