In a matter of a day or so, we fully expect the Olympus E-P1 Micro Four Thirds camera to be officially announced by none other than the good folks at Olympus themselves. Word has it that the E-P1 will be able to handle 720p high definition video without breaking the $1,000 price point – small consolation, that. Other functions and features include :-
- SD storage
- 13-megapixel RAW, JPEG, and RAW+JPEG modes
- 1,280 × 720 video for 7 minutes at a time
- 640×480 video for 14 minutes
- 3″ LCD display with Liveview
- ISO 200-6400
- Shutter speed 60sec-1/4000sec
This looks like one highly alluring temptress that ought to leave you in a tough spot negotiating with your wife on how to stretch the finances a bit more this month to accommodate such a purchase.
