Palm has managed to sell 300,000 of their Pre smartphones in June since it was released, with around 70,000 units in May (these are just industry estimates as Palm has yet to release specific sales figures) and according to CEO Jon Rubinstein, “sales have been strong and growing.” We do know that Palm shipped a mere 351,000 phones in the entire quarter prior to the Pre’s debut, and the sales figures are much more compared to what Palm has previously done in the previous quarters with their line of Treo Pros, making this a stunning turnaround success story to emulate by ailing companies.
