Palm’s Pre is a pretty decent handset, but that doesn’t mean their older offerings aren’t solid enough for today’s use. The Palm Treo Pro is now available for just $399 unlocked, knocking off $150 from its retail price in a bid to woo more customers to their fold. For those who want to pick it up at an even cheaper rate, make sure you qualify for a 2-year contract with Alltel or Sprint after rebate, where the handset will drop another $200 in the process. Just to jog your memory a little, the Palm Treo Pro will be powered by a 400MHz processor, featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, a 320 x 320 resolution touchscreen display and a 2-megapixel camera.
