Philips has added yet another member to its home theater family with the HTS8160B Soundbar that will comprise of a Blu-ray disc player, integrated speakers and a separate subwoofer. No idea on how much power these speakers are able to pump out, but Philips has dubbed the system Ambisound HD speakers, boasting support for Dolby True HD audio format and 7.1-channel surround sound. In addition, this product also plays nice with your iPod/iPhone, making it a snap to use thanks to a touchscreen remote control. Expect to fork out around $1,500 HTS8160B for this, as it is currently available in Singapore with no word on a North America release just yet.
