Philips was the pioneer when it came to Ambilight technology for your LCD TV, and here they are with something similar – a monitor that glows bright blue all around. Known as the Philips LightFrameT, this 22″ widescreen TFT monitor is surrounded by a cool blue frame whenever you turn it on, and it is touted to reduce eye fatigue in the process. Apparently, Philips claims that the “blue light that passes the eye’s third receptor has a relaxing and rejuvenating effect”. Guess you’ll have to fork out £175 to find out when this becomes available from the beginning of July onwards.
