Qualcomm has taken advantage of the Computex 2009 event by highlighting new advances in mobile connectivity and capabilities powered by its Snapdragon platform in a press conference. Qualcomm is also looking at a new range of mobile devices known as ‘Smartbooks’ that ought to offer yet another platform for mobile users to experience always-on connectivity and ultra-portability without sacrificing on performance and power. We’re guessing a chipset to be at the heart of a new device that is smaller than a netbook and yet can do most, if not all the things a netbook can?
