Samsung VC240 LCD Monitor

Samsung is back with another LCD monitor in the form of the VC240 that will come with an integrated 5-megapixel webcam, featuring all the relevant built-in components required for HD desktop video conferencing. This 24″ LCD display will, of course, double up as a computer monitor if the need arises. Chances are most people will target this as a business communications tool since it relies on VoIP for communications and will play nice with virtually all other VoIP systems and SIP control units. All video will be compressed in H.264 codec, and the noise-canceling microphone will do its part to make sure all communications are sent in a clear and concise manner. As for contrast ratio, the LCD will come with 1,000:1 and ship later this fall for $1,999.
