Sony aims to chip off a small bit from Apple’s massive portable media player empire with the Zappin Walkman, shaped after a USB flash drive. It will come with 2GB of storage space, boasting Sony’s Drag and Drop technology for easy file transfer, plays nice with MP3 and WMA file formats, an integrated FM Tuner and up to 18 hours of battery life on a full charge. The Zappin ought to be a snap to tote around considering it weighs just 26 grams. No idea on how much it costs though.
