
It is official – the original school of thought that pointed towards a 6-month exclusivity for the Pre from Sprint is now debunked, thanks to Dan Hesse’s presentation where he mentioned in passing that “…they (people) need to check their facts. That just is not the case. Both Palm and Sprint have agreed not to discuss the length of the exclusivity deal. But I can tell you it’s not six months.” Guess folks who are waiting for the Palm Pre and yet don’t want to be tied down to a contract by Sprint will just have to ride this one out. Hopefully it won’t mean having them pick up the new and improved iPhone 3G when it is released…
