Verizon Announces HTC Ozone

Verizon Wireless has just rolled out its latest HTC handset that will run Windows Mobile – the Ozone. Using this will further deplete our ozone layer due to the amount of greenhouse gases emitted during the manufacturing and transportation process, and isn’t green in any way – but then again, how many handsets are environmentally friendly? The HTC Ozone will come with Wi-Fi connectivity, global roaming capability, VZ Navigator and visual voicemail support, a QWERTY keyboard and a relatively powerful 1500mAh battery which ought to keep this puppy going the whole day even when remaining connected online the entire period. Interestingly enough, Verizon has priced the HTC Ozone for an extremely affordable $49.99 on a 2-year contract after rebate when it rolls out online this June 29th followed by retail stores on July 13th.
