For those who have recently picked up a spankin’ new Viliv S5 Premium MID, make sure you perform a thorough virus scan on it as there have been reports of several S5 units infected with dangerous viruses like kinza.exe, win32.QQrob-32 and ActMon-Pro right out-of-the-box. It remains to be identified how these infections came about during installation at a factory – perhaps a disgruntled employee did not manage to get the pay raise he/she wanted to badly? Needless to say, these virus-infected models are but a tiny percentage of the entire S5 population, so don’t let this little blip put you off from purchasing one of the better MIDs that are currently available.
