Western Digital has just launched its My Book World Edition II dual-drive NAS that will now come in 2TB and 4TB capacities, where they have been set up to ship in a mirrored (RAID 1) drive array that makes allowance for data back up simultaneously to both drives, ensuring the safety of your data just in case one of them fails. In addition, Western Digital has also thrown in a generous amount of backup software that aims to make automatic data backup a snap for newbies to the computing world. The new My Book World Edition II also doubles up as media servers, where built-in DLNA support enables users to share music with a gamut of other devices including the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, wireless digital photo frames and others. You can pick up the 2TB and 4TB versions for $400 and $700, respectively.
