Microsoft has officially announced October 22nd to be the day where Windows 7 will be launched. Are you happy to see such a close release date? If that’s the case, might we suggest those who are still using Windows XP to skip the upgrade path to Windows Vista and wait for that fated day this October to arrive? Surely you can hold out a few more months after waiting this long, as Windows 7 looks set to tear itself away from the problems that Vista plagued users with for a long time now. If Windows 7 does well, it could further increase Microsoft’s stranglehold on the home computing market share and operating system niches as users try to forget the debacle that is Vista.
