Check out this super small Akai LPK 25 keyboard that offers performance that doesn’t correlate with its size – after all, it comes with pro-grade construction alongside velocity-sensitive keys. Using the USB bus as its power source, the LPK 25 measures 13″ long and will fit into any notebook bag or backpack comfortably. As for the USB-powered LPD8, this one comes with eight pads and 8 knobs, whereas the LPK25 features 25 keys, an argeggator, and controls for sustain, octave switching and tap tempo. No word on pricing, although they ought to hit stores sometime this Q3.
