Larry Pesce decided to extend the range of his Asus EEE 4G Surf by throwing in an external RP-TNC antenna connector, offering detailed instructions here. The finished product doesn’t look unwieldy by any means, and in fact does resemble a somewhat natural image that might fool most people into thinking that it is part of the real deal.
