FineDigital recently paraded its upgraded FineDrive Voice 3.0 navigation device in South Korea, where it will rely on the Fine SRTM3.0 speech recognition engine from ETRI, enabling users to search their destinations in addition to gaining control over a host of functions including DMB, MP3 and video playback using nothing but speech. Hopefully it will be able to handle voice instructions from people all over the world instead of being slated towards a certain accent or slang.
