Garmin Asus To Launch Nuviphone In Asia

After an extremely long wait (too long for some in the industry, it seems), Garmin Asus aims to make their partnership an extremely fruitful one by announcing the availability of a couple of their handsets, namely the G60 and M20. Both models will arrive in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia sometime next month, all powered by Windows Mobile, while the Linux-powered G60 is hitting Taiwan within the next three days, followed by a release in Singapore and Malaysia before August is over. Folks living in Europe will have to wait until 2H 2009, with no mention about us poor folks living Stateside. We do hope the final price point isn’t going to cause an even bigger strain on our monthly budget though. [Press Release]
