Gateway LT2000 Launched

Gateway has rolled out yet another netbook to the masses – the Gateway LT2000. This netbook is pretty thin at just an inch thick, tipping the scales at 2.62 pounds to make it even more portable – as it netbooks aren’t light enough as they already are. Features of the Gateway LT2000 include :-

  • Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor
  • Microsoft Windows XP Home (Service Pack 3)
  • 10.1″ WSVGA 16:9 ratio TFT LCD (1,024 x 600 resolution)
  • Mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset
  • 1GB RAM
  • 160GB SATA 5400RPM hard drive
  • Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
  • Multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader
  • 802.11b/g Wi-Fi CERTIFIED
  • Web Camera
  • Two Built-in Stereo Speakers
  • Dolby Headphone Technology
  • Three USB 2.0 Ports
  • 3-cell Li-ion Battery

Shame the battery couldn’t come in a higher capacity, otherwise this would’ve been lined up as a pretty hot product. $299.99 will net you a NightSky Black color, although you can also pick up a Cherry Red Version for the same price as model number Gateway LT2021u. [Press Release]
