It makes perfect sense to have computers that not only target little ones, so why not come up with machines that are old folks friendly? This is what the Go Computer is all about – a desktop machine that was specifically made for sniors. Designed by MyGait with over eight years of consulting in senior retirement homes, this unique machine requires around 5 minutes to set up, offering round-the-clock customer support just in case you mistakenly drop your gold tooth into the DVD-ROM or run into other troubles of sorts. Powered by a proprietary ‘Go’ operating system, the Go Computer is a snap to use when browsing the Web, replying email and basically, turning computer functions into something simple and easy. Other features include a 19” anti-glare screen, keyboard with large visible keys and a trackball mouse that can zoom up to 200%. Apart from the initial $799 you have to fork out, there is still the $19.99 monthly fee for 24-hour customer service. Something tells me this won’t take off anytime soon.
