HP decided to release its largest-ever mainstream computer LCD display known as the 2709m. This device clearly blurs the line between a flat screen TV set, where 27″ of viewing real estate will definitely be able to serve as a decent TV in small homes and apartments. Features include Full HD resolution support, HDMi input, DVI and VGA connectivity to handle video from movie readers as well as older home theater equipment. Other capabilities of the HP 2709m include an anti-glare treatment for its display alongside a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. You can tilt the HP 2709m whenever you use it, although it won’t rotate at all. Expect to fork out $500 for this puppy if you’re in the market for something in-between.
