Asus pushes the envelope yet again with a couple of new netbooks under the Eee PC Seashell banner in the form of the Asus 1101HA and 1005HA. This is made possible thanks to the Asus Super Hybrid Engine (SHE), coupled with other technological innovations like an LED-backlit display and Intel’s power-saving Atom processor. You will be able to get anywhere from 10.5 to 11 hours of power on a full charge, but it remains to be seen just under what kind of stress these netbooks go through to achieve such phenomenal battery life. These are truly great netbooks then if you could coax such battery life while working with a full suite of applications – they’d make trans-Atlantic flights less boring.
