Metal Detecting Dune Buggy

Love spending the day at the beach with a metal detector, hoping to stumble upon some sort of hidden treasure? That has long been a favorite past time for many people, although there is now a new and lazier method to do so – thanks to the Metal Detecting Dune Buggy. This remote-controlled device is able to detect buried metallic objects when driven over suitable terrain, and these will include backyards, dirt lots, low grass or even flat sand. It is capable of sensing iron-based metals as long as they’re not more than 4″ deep, flashing a red LED while beeping to snap you out of your current relaxed mental state. The remote control will move the buggy forward, backward, left and right movement within a 25′ radius, and you have the option of choosing the metal detecting sensitivity through a dial on the buggy. A quartet of AA batteries in the remote can provide up to 4 hours of “driving”, while the buggy itself is powered by a single 9V battery. Sounds like $49.95 well spent, this.
