
Just when you thought pigs could fly as Toshiba mulls over delivering a Blu-ray drive to the market despite being a champion of its own HD DVD format some time ago, Microsoft, too, could follow suit as word on the street is going around that the software giant might be rolling out a Blu-ray drive add-on for its popular Xbox 360 gaming console. After all, Microsoft did offer an external HD DVD drive before, so it remains to be seen whether the tide is turning for Blu-ray long after the HD DVD’s death.
