Nissan aims to make drivers dumber (some would say, keep roads safer) with their new automotive navigation system which will rely on intelligent transportation system (ITS) infrastructure and other advanced technology. This new system is said to be able to warn drivers of low-visibility intersections, school zones, and navigation-linked speed control. In addition, it has a heart for your carbon footprint by notifying you through faster route calculations that will ultimately translate into better fuel savings. It is expected for this world’s first navigation system to se action later this year in the next generation Nissan Fuga model in Japan.
